MANULIFE TOWER
Singapore
Completed in 1999, Manulife Tower (formerly PWC Building), at 8 Cross Street, is a prime 28-storey Grade A office building with a 4-storey podium. The “Big Canopy System” method was used during construction, which allowed for a construction rate of 6 days per floor with just 25 workers. This development won the Building and Construction Authority’s Best Buildable Design Award in the Commercial and Office Buildings category in 2000.
